Prophet Al-Khidr Shrine in Buq'ata is one of the village’s sacred Druze religious sites dedicated to Al-Khidr, a deeply revered prophetic figure in Druze tradition. Buq'ata has two maqams associated with him, known as the western and eastern maqams.

The site is used for religious visits, prayer and community gatherings. An annual Druze visit is held in Buq'ata, bringing religious leaders and visitors from the Golan, Galilee and Carmel; since 2008, the annual visit has alternated between the western and eastern maqams
